We really enjoyed its particularly good and easy location.
everything was great, had a really great stay on a road trip. we were greeted by amazingly nice, affable staff. location: the hotel was right by restaurants nearby and supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants and all major stores. pizzeria little caesars was located 5 minutes walk away.

I liked that there was tiles rather than carpet. The room was clean. Having a mini fridge and microwave was very helpful.

I selected Budget because the pictures showed the fridge, microwave and coffee pot.
I couldn't find a list of available TV channels causing me to hunt through the channels. It would have helped if the remote was a little more responsive. The recptionist had several on the counter, so this must be a continuing problem.

I struck gold with my room! the bed was comfy, the showers were hot, and the lady at the counter was a gem. Even had a parking spot right at my doorstep.
The unexpected wildlife roaming inside was a delightful surprise.

The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and welcoming. He found our reservation quickly and had the paperwork and keys all ready when we arrived. He was happy to recommend a nearby restaurant (based on our tastes), since it was the first time we had visited that city before. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the motel, and banks and stores are also very close. The motel is conveniently located on a major thoroughfare, making it a good choice for a one-night stop-over. The room had a coffee-maker (with coffee, but no creamer or sugar) and small refrigerator. There was cable TV, although no guide to help us with channel selection. I believe there was free WiFi, but we did not attempt to connect. The room rate was very reasonable.
Although we did not expect anything fancy at budget prices, the room was just a little bit too austere. The white walls were completely bare, which made my traveling companion a bit uncomfortable--even the usual cheesy motel-room art prints were lacking. The floor was not carpeted, but covered with a vinyl fake wood laminate--practical and easy to clean, I'm sure, but not nice to walk on in bare feet when we got up in the morning. One or two small rugs would have helped. Worst of all, we discovered when we woke up in the morning that we had no hot water. When we went to the office around 7 am to let them know, the office was locked. We ended up just leaving the key in the room and departing earlier than we had planned, after taking a very short cold shower. There was no kind of feedback form in the room, so presumably the next people who stayed in that room had no hot water, either.

The staff were consistently courteous with any request. I found the hotel's location good and easy, next to other attractions, stores, and food options. - It was 1 mile from Artesia School Museum.

The room was VERY reasonably priced but still had amenities such as a microwave, mini fridge w/freezer and coffee maker. The furniture was old and the room was basic (no decorations on the walls, no carpet - pergo floors) but it had everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The water was hot in the shower, the bed was comfortable, tv worked (using the remote only) and there was free wi-fi. Overall a good value for the money spent.
The room was marked as a non-smoking room but the entire room reeked of cigarettes. The bed linens and sheets were particularly odorus. Very gross to a non-smoker - thankfully we were able to leave the windows open to let the air circulate.
